Sergio (Plastic Flowers Remix)
Have you heard Plastic Flowers’ stellar remix of our single ‘Sergio?’ Well it’s streaming here and at our bandcamp site, AND included as the B-side when you download the ‘album’ version of ‘Sergio’ pay-what-you-wish there. If you were kind enough to support us by buying the single PLEASE download this for free with our appreciation. If you’re just hearing these now, why not grab both together for a few bucks or whatever you can spare.
I came dangerously close to instant regression when I saw this. I think this scene may explain 80% of my art.

An exciting week at TSH HQ continues with Tiny Mixed Tapes’ premier of Plastic Flowers’ AMAZING remix/reimagining of our recent single ‘Sergio.’ They create a dark, desolate synthetic landscape which only amplifies the lyrics (as opposed to our apparent strategy of impaling them on a Motels ballad.)
Iconic British fashion designer Paul Smith recommends our last LP ‘The World That Never Was’ in his Vogue blog. Nice to remember there was an album booklet with photos and liners et all. Lovely to imagine him flipping through it while giving a listen. The man’s floral socks are as close to poetry as such a thing could be. -MGJR

Excited to join dream pop contenders Echo Friendly, and Amalie Bruun at the Cameo Gallery in Williamsburg. Forced aesthetic de-getrification to be followed by immediate re-gentrification in a slightly more soulful manner.
Minding the shop window again. Listen to our new single ‘Sergio’ here, link to the Village Voice preview or download for free (or perhaps a shekel or two if you feel like helping.) If you like ethereal ballads that devolve into class warfare anthems…you might possibly like this.
This is what is politely called fan porn, that is to say something that is certain to stimulate a sizable percentage of followers due to it’s insidous meshing of nostalgia, sensuality and rain.
